Holiday Festivities in Baltimore
The holidays are approaching, and with it comes a time to celebrate with friends and family. Here at Anthem House, we’ve provided a list of different events for you and your loved ones to attend this holiday season:
Holiday Crawls
If you wish to show off your ugly sweaters, then tag along on the Ugly Sweater Crawl. Hosted by Historic Pigtown's Community Association, this crawl will go through the bar scene of Pigtown’s main street on the 10th, and each stop will give a prize to the person with the ugliest sweater.
If you’re a lover of cookies of any kind, then be sure to participate in the Fell’s Point Cookie Crawl on Point! Stop by for some cookies and a drink on December 15th, and enjoy the walk down main street.
Also in Fells Point, the Santa Bar Crawl to The Point is being held on December 17th. Enjoy music from a live DJ and enjoy rail drinks, bud lights, and holiday shots. Be sure to grab an early bird ticket!
For the third year in a row, Power Plant Live is hosting their 12 Bars of Christmas Crawl. Wear your most extreme holiday getups and join the party on December 10th. Everyone who attends will get a 16oz santa cup, but those who arrive earlier can get other goodies such as a light up christmas necklace. Check for the specials at each participating bar!
Festive Flavors
Right here at your home at Anthem House, the Taco Mama Cantina is hosting an Ugly Sweater Party! Stop by on December 16th for the event, and be sure to drop your name in for a drawing for a free taco.
For the lovers of gingerbread, man or building, stop by Full Tilt Brewing on December 15th to Build Your Own Gingerbread House. They will provide all the materials needed to build gingerbread houses, as well as holiday movies and songs to enjoy while building.
Head over to Fell’s Point on December 10th for a chance to participate in their Egg Nog Tasting Tour! Anyone who buys a ticket will be able to sample 3 ounce portions of nog from all participating businesses. There will also be holiday music to listen to, sung by the caroling group Ding Dongs.
If you’re in Federal Hill on the 17th, be sure to check out the Ugly Sweater Drag Brunch at Mother’s Federal Hill Grille. Tickets are separate from the brunch, and the person with the ugliest sweater will win a ticket to the next show hosted by Absolutely Dragulous!
On each Thursday in December before Christmas, try the Spirits Tasting in the Christmas Village, located right by the Inner Harbor. Tasting menus come with 4 spirits and a food pairing, as well as dedicated seating inside their heated tent. Guests will also receive a branded shot glass to take home!
