Celebrate St. Paddy’s in Baltimore

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Whether you’re Irish by blood or just for the day, there are tons of fun ways to celebrate around the city. Don your best green outfit to avoid a leprechaun pinch, enjoy classic Irish foods, and, of course, drink up! Keep reading for our guide to the best events in Baltimore:

Check out the annual St. Patrick Parade  hosted by the Baltimore Irish community from 2-5 on Sunday the 15th! The parade begins at Washington Monument in Mount Vernon Place, then travels south down Charles Street and east on Pratt Street to Market Place. This is a great event to bring the whole family to.

To start your weekend off on a healthy note, you can participate in the Saint Patrick’s Day 5k, hosted by the Baltimore Road Runners Club. They will have live music and a post-run beer awaiting you at the finish line.

Running not your style? What about crawling...a bar crawl, that is! Head to the Canton Irish Stroll on March 5th, starting at 1pm from Lee’s Pint & Shell and continuing until 9pm. You can also check out the Baltimore Shamrock Crawl, a bar crawl hitting over 10 bars in Fells Point! They will also have a costume contest, prizes, and a Shamrock mug as a souvenir.

For another way to drink the weekend away, check out the Kegs and Eggs St. Patrick’s Day Rally on Saturday the 14th from 10am-3pm at Power Plant Live. Tickets to this 21+ event will get you access to a number of establishments including Mosaic, Luckie’s Tavern, Luckie’s Liquors, PBR Baltimore, and Angel's Rock Bar.

Want to stay closer to home? Delia Foley’s annual St. Patrick’s Day party is sure to be a great time. A $10 cover charge gets you entry to both indoor and outdoor parties, live music, and a Guinness beer truck.

For a celebration on the day of, grab some Pints & Pancakes at Mahaffey’s Pub. They’ll also have corned beef and cabbage and bangers and mash starting at noon. The bar will feature $4 Guinness Pints from 8am-12pm, no cover!
