As summer winds down, we’ve got just one thing on our mind—football season! Whether or not you’re a Ravens fan, Baltimore has a lot to offer when it comes to watching your favorite team.
If you’re an Anthem House resident, we hope you’ll take advantage of our 90-inch television, as well as 4 other wall mounted TV’s, in our Club Room. You’ll be able to watch multiple games at once, play pool, and grill up some delicious football delicacies on The Lawn. If you’re interested in reserving the space for a private party of ten or more, simply contact the Resident Concierge to make it yours! There are also 4 TV’s in our lobby and plenty of game watching options inside Amber. Should you decide to get out and explore the neighborhood, be sure to check out these nearby locales: Wiley Gunters If you’re a Redskins fan, Wiley’s is a must! They have some amazing gameday specials. If college football is more your speed, then stop by on Saturday’s if you’re a Virginia Tech fan! MaGerks E-A-G-L-E-S… Eagles! Right in the heart of Federal Hill lies this Philadelphia Eagles bar. Don’t leave without trying the Cheesesteak. Barflys This chill Buffalo Bills bar serves up some of the best pizza in Baltimore, so be sure to check it out this fall! Mother's For Raven’s fans it doesn’t get much more purple than this. Take your Sunday Funday to another level and enjoy the game outdoors on their Purple Patio. Don’t Know Tavern We don’t know what’s better about this Ravens and WVU joint, it’s amazing bar food or it’s awesome drink specials. Stop by this fall and decide! Hair of the Dog With 20 big screen televisions and a projection screen, Hair of the Dog is the perfect place to watch all your favorite teams play, especially if you’re a Penn State fan. While all of the bars offer amazing game day experiences, there really is no place like home! Enjoy the game from the comfort of your own home and make this staff favorite dip to truly live your Anthem!BBQ Chicken Dip
Ingredients 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1½ cups finely chopped chicken 1/3 cup corn 1/3 cup black beans 2 green onions, sliced 1/2 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1/4 cup chopped red onion chopped, fresh cilantro extra BBQ sauce to drizzle on top Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a small baking dish with non-stick spray. 2. In a large bowl, stir together cream cheese, BBQ sauce, and garlic powder until smooth. 3. Stir in chicken, corn, black beans, green onions, and half of cheese. 4. Spread mixture in prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes. 5. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle top with red onion, cilantro and drizzle with BBQ Sauce. 6. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
